If you use an Android smartphone or tablets to manage your WordPress website then there is a new version available for you to download from the Google Play Store.
The latest version is WordPress Android 3.7.
The new version contains a few new great features and updates to manage your WordPress site in a better way. Both for you as a webmaster and also for your visitors and readers.
An increasing trend is more and more people are using mobile devices for almost anything when it comes to Internet nowadays. You pay bills online, buy tickets to travel, meet new loves so why not manage your website with an app from your smartphone or tablets?
Let’s have a look at what’s new in WordPress Android 3.7.
News
One of the news is a new stats screen. From this version, you can better track the performance of your published posts. No matter what post it is, you can check stats on a new screen that displays all data.
Auto-correct is back. with the auto-correction feature back again, you can easily respond to comments. Typo-free, of course!
Improved reader experience. In your reader, you can catch up with your favorite websites and see what’s new! Your reader now remembers where you left off. Meaning you’ll never lose your place again. Tap the “New posts” bar to explore the newest posts in your feed.
As always, there are bugs to fix, and the team behind this version have made various bug fixes to make the whole experience smoother, including an issue of changing the orientation on tablets.
Beta
If you want to test new beta versions, testing new stuff and keep up with what’s happening in the front row you can get access to beta versions with updates shipped directly through Google Play. The beta versions may contain new features, new fixes but perhaps even bugs! But as a beta tester you will help the improvement and development of new versions, and make them more stable.
